Madison Wright

Madison has done a lot in her 21 years. She is currently a 4th year Life Science Major at Queen's University, and works 3 jobs while doing so! She began her efforts in community involvement at age 14 through volunteering at a variety of places; CPHC, Rosedale retirement home, Habitat for Humanity, Loaves and Fishes and many events in the Brockville and area. Her passion to give back to her community continued throughout the Pandemic whilst her desire to become a business owner and entrepreneur grew. She came up with the idea of Yard Flair, a lawn sign party service, in 2021 and began the planning of the business throughout 2021 until the opening of early 2022. Since then, she has sponsored soccer teams, given back to the Food Bank including doing signs for them two years in a row through donation, and given free signs to children in need who cannot afford birthday celebrations. 

Madison has established many connections in the community at a young age and has a strong desire to continue to do so, while also looking at furthering her business to become more than just a local operation to further support other communities including, but also outside of Brockville.
