Joey Mason
Originally from Abitibi-Témiscamingue in Québec, made his way to Brockville, Ontario in 2017 to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. He became the Community Mobilization Officer of Leeds County, where he attends schools to connect with and present to students about drugs, cybercrime and other related subjects and criminal offences. He offers non-judgmental support, works alongside a Social Worker, and connects community members in need, whether they are homeless, addicted to substances, victims of crimes, or in a tough spot. He works well with all community agencies in Leeds and Grenville and has positive relationships with their members, which supports our community greatly. He is an excellent officer who provides exemplary support to his colleagues and everyone around him.

Joey is highly motivated and passionate and promotes inclusiveness through his work as the Diversity and Inclusion Officer. He will organize or participate in events in the Leeds and Grenville area and engages community members with respect and compassion. His values and character are that of integrity, dedication, and leadership.
