Brittany Matthie

Beginning her career as a Young Professional in the Leeds and Grenville area, Brittany entered the social services field in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioural Psychology from St. Lawrence College. Throughout her studies, Brittany worked on the Peer Ambassador Committee to embrace all things student life, hosting events on campus and demonstrating SLC pride. Her first job after graduating post-secondary was as a Rehabilitation Worker in a Group Home at Lanark Leeds Grenville Addiction Mental Health, where she holds a part-time night position today.


Brittany comes from a large family and group of friends where she has always been a natural helper. Her genuine, kind, and positive demeanor welcomes individuals of all backgrounds to connect and feel comfortable sharing their story. This skill was put to good use for three years while Brittany worked as a Support Worker with homeless youth at Connect Youth. Her passion and dedication to this position led her to grow to be the Program Manager of the Transitional Housing Program.


Brittany is currently a Job Developer and Employment Consultant at CSE Consulting in Prescott. She supports job seekers to find the right work opportunity, and employers to find the right fit throughout the Grenville communities. Brittany has enjoyed growing her professional skills within the Employment and Business sector as she has progressed in this position.


As of 2023, Brittany holds a role as a Director on the Board of the South Grenville Chamber of Commerce. Through this role, she is excited to bring engaging and informative events to the SG community, and help local businesses connect and collaborate to strengthen our economy. Brittany has jumped into action on the Chamber as the Business After 5 Event Coordinator, Membership Liaison, and a member of the Strategic Planning Sub-Committee. Brittany has always been dedicated to growing as a professional and giving back to her community; however, her number one role is being a busy and blessed Mama of two.
