Alison Merkley

Alison Merkley was born and raised in the Brockville area and has over a decade of experience working with local government under a variety of capacities.  Her interest stemmed from a desire to give back to the community by making governments more approachable by strengthening relationships and communication efforts.

Alison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management with a specialization in Developmental Studies from Carleton University, in addition to an Executive Diploma in Municipal Management and a diploma in Municipal Administration from AMCTO.  She continues to expand her skill set by seeking additional training opportunities and accreditations to better serve her community.
