WHAT IS THE AMAZING CHASE?
The Amazing Chase is an outrageous take on a scavenger hunt, modeled after the popular TV show the Amazing Race open to all ages. On event day, your team will be handed a virtual list of challenges with different point values. Quickly scan the missions and decide which ones to complete and when. Rush through some of the seemingly easy ones to get warmed up, or head straight to the wild and crazy ones to jump ahead in points!

Teams of 3-6 people.

WHEN IS THE EVENT AND HOW LONG IS IT?
The day of the Amazing Chase changes each year and always coincides with a Downtown Brockville Shop the Street event.
You have 3 hours to complete challenges. Check in opens 30 minutes before the start time and the winner and prizes are given following the 3 hours.
WHAT IF I AM NOT ATHLETIC?
The Amazing Chase is a checkpoint style event where teams choose which challenges they wish to complete and how quickly. Challenges are designed for all to enjoy with past participants including toddlers, seniors and every age in between.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Dress comfortably and appropriate for the weather.
Looking for some easy points? Have your team dress as a theme.
WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?

Smartphone. Challenges are available virtually and teams submit proof via a free phone app.

Water. There is no set course or water stations available.

Payment Method. Some challenges may involve a cost.

Proper attire to run the streets of Downtown Brockville.
HOW DOES THE SCORING WORK?
Use your smartphone to take pictures/videos of your team completing the challenges and send them to the moderator via a free app that you will be prompted to download upon registration which will track your team points.
Each challenge has pre-assigned points and moderators will track submissions throughout the event. Photos are judged against the same criteria as decided by the judges whose decision is final.
The team at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the event will earn amazing prizes and, more importantly, bragging rights.
DO I NEED A WAIVER?
No. By registering for the event, your team agrees to waive all rights and claims against the event, Brockville Young Professionals Network, and the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce.
The Amazing Chase is run independently from the Downtown Brockville event.
A FEW MORE NOTES...

Follow the instructions for each mission to the best of your ability.

Only original pictures/videos will be accepted. Please take clear pictures so we can judge accurately.

Proof of challenge completion should show at least one team member.

Judges decisions are final but we strive to be fair and will give feedback.

Please be respective to local businesses. Most challenges do not state which business may be used to complete a challenge.

Please do not break the law or cause damage to public or private property.

Stay safe! We are not responsible for any injuries during the event.
