Lauren MacDonald

Lauren has always been a strong and passionate advocate for mental health awareness and decided to take these passions and turn them into her career, attending St. Lawrence college for Mental health and addictions. Following completion of her diploma, Lauren continued her education, completing a bachelor’s in human services, while actively working in her field, and raising a wonderful son. Presently, Lauren works to advocate for and provide case management services to vulnerable populations, assisting them to reach their fullest potential through her work as an Adult and Youth community counsellor with Developmental Services of Leeds Grenville. Lauren continues to be a strong advocate in the community, working to end the stigma surrounding mental health and addictions.   

In addition to her work in the Human Services field, Lauren is an entrepreneur, with her business LKM Photography recently celebrating one year in operation. Lauren has a passion for capturing timeless family memories, intimate events and empowering individuals to recognize their beauty through photos. 

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys pursuing other creative interests, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
