Is the event outside?
Yes, the event will take place in an outdoor pavilion at Windmill Brewery. In case of inclement weather, the pavilion has curtained sides that can be pulled down to help with wind / rain.
What's for dinner?
On the menu: pulled pork on a bun with coleslaw, caesar salad, mac and cheese, and veggies.

Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions that need to be accommodated no later than September 1 2021 so we can inform the caterer
How will dinner work?
Food will be served buffet-style starting at 6:30 PM. There will be large picnic tables under the pavilion and, weather permitting, some space to spread out on the grass as well.

If you would prefer, we can arrange for dinner to be takeaway instead.
Is there going to be entertainment?
The awards ceremony will start at 7PM and will include presentations from sponsors as well as certificates to the recipients. There is no formal entertainment but there will be lots of time for socializing with fellow YPs and different local Windmill beers to try.
Can anyone attend?
Unfortunately the event in 2021 is invite only. We are hoping to make it an open event in the future, but current restrictions have limited us to only be able to accommodate the 2021 recipients and one guest each, plus sponsors.
What do I wear?
It is a BBQ so no need to dress super fancy! The dress code for the event this year is casual. Think comfortable yet polished, like "the attire of golf, but not that of surfing" (click here for more on dress codes).
